Next week we'll put in the last 'bulbs', rhizomes is the official term I think. We're trying some anemone nemerosa (woodland anemone), just to see how they respond in certain areas in the garden.
The crocus, daffodils and grape hyacinths should do well, can't wait to see the results and all the pots are filled with tulips, hyacinths and iris bulbs. I expect a great display in early spring. It better be, 3000 bulbs later you wonder if it is all worth it. But I know it is, and unlike with slow growing shrubs you get an amazing show soon after all the effort, only 4 more months to wait.
